Why wear one blush hue when you can wear two? Cocktail orange and pink for a refreshing golden-hour glow with the Sunset Spritz Trend. The viral Sunset Blush look is here to stay through summer and beyond with our take on the trend inspired by everyone’s favourite summer cocktail. The look layers sun-kissed shades of pink, orange and golden tones on cheeks and lips to create a custom ombré colour that mimics a sunset. “Corals are back – and people are reinventing them into this Sunset Blush look,” says Makeup Artist, Alexandra French.
According to French, we took the original Sunset Blush trend and transformed it into something less popsicle-like and more wearable for everyone. “We took it in a direction that isn’t necessarily too bright. We toned it down a lot and made it more blended for a watercolour look,” she says.
To build your own juicy flushed look, strobe cheeks with orange and pink shades of NEW Strobe Beam Liquid Blush, like Good Vibes and Apricot Jelly, and gloss lips with Lipglass Air Non-Sticky Gloss in Spritz for a customized melt of ombré colour. Don’t forget to finish off your vibrant look with a spray of Fix+ to meld your look together.
